We offer a comprehensive CAPS curriculum in the Senior Phase to ensure a well-rounded education. Our subjects include:

Afrikaans (First Additional Language)

Afrikaans FAL supports learners whose home language is different, helping them develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Afrikaans in everyday and educational contexts.

Creative Arts

Creative Arts gives learners opportunities to explore and express themselves through visual and performing arts (drawing, painting, music, drama, design). It fosters creativity, cultural awareness, and personal expression.

Economic & Management Sciences

EMS introduces learners to basic economic concepts, business, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and how society uses resources. It fosters decision-making, money sense, and business awareness.

English (Home Language)

English Home Language develops learners’ reading, writing, listening, speaking, and literature appreciation in the language they speak at home. It emphasises meaning, communication, critical thinking, and self-expression.

isiZulu (First Additional Language)

isiZulu FAL develops learners’ proficiency in isiZulu through reading, writing, listening, and speaking in real-life and school contexts.

Life Orientation

Life Orientation helps learners develop personal growth, health awareness, social responsibility, career awareness, and citizenship. It supports learners’ holistic development for life beyond school.

Mathematics

Mathematics develops learners’ understanding of number, algebra, geometry, measurement, data handling, and problem-solving. It builds logical thinking, critical reasoning, and prepares learners for further study or STEM fields.

Natural Sciences

Natural Sciences introduces learners to scientific knowledge, investigation skills, understanding of living and non-living systems, matter, energy, and the environment. It encourages curiosity, inquiry, and scientific thinking.

Technology

Technology helps learners understand and apply design, construction, information and communication technologies, and problem-solving in a technological world. It builds practical skills and innovation mindset.

Social Sciences (History & Geography)

Social Sciences combines the study of history and geography, enabling learners to understand human societies, environments, spatial relationships, change over time, and socio-economic patterns.
