Our Story

Since 1997, Jordao High School has been committed to one simple belief: every learner deserves to be truly known, supported, and guided toward success. As a small, independent school with fewer than 120 learners, we offer a calm, nurturing environment where personal attention is not an added benefit—it is our way of teaching.
Rooted in South Africa’s rich diversity and values of Excellence, Pride, and Respect, we provide a focused CAPS academic programme, specialist subjects in Art, Drama, and Design, and a strong culture of partnership with families. Our story is one of growth, care, and meaningful relationships—and every learner who joins us becomes part of it.

A Message from Our Principal

At Jordao High School, every learner is known, supported, and encouraged to grow. As a small, independent school, we take pride in offering personalised attention, strong values, and a calm, structured environment where young people thrive academically and emotionally.
Our committed teachers work closely with learners, ensuring no one is overlooked and every success is celebrated. We prioritise respect, integrity, and a deep sense of pride in who we are and how we treat others.
I invite you to visit us and experience a school where excellence is truly personal.

— Cidalia Jordao Olivier, Headmistress
